PHIL-LiDAR 1 activity Photo documentation
The following photos were originally captured by ICCEM-CLSU PHIL-LiDAR 1 researchers during hydrological data gathering in Bued-Angalacan River Watershed. The activity aimed to generate flood hazard map of the Bued-Angalacan river in Pangasinan, Philippines.
Remote Sensing Activities
Bued-Angalacan River mouth
The picture shows the big river mouth/outlet of the Bued-Angalacan river in San Fabian, Pangasinan. Bued-Angalacan river is a major river in Pangasinan. Geophysical changes of the Bued-Angalacan river mouth was also monitored by the LiDAR1 researchers. One of the major activities of the study was the field validation of the point coordinates that was undertaken by Engr. Bennidict Pueyo and Mr. Christopher Genaro (left picture) on September 2015.
Bued-Angalacan North Coast
Pictures shows the North Coast of the Bued-Angalacan River Watershed. The researchers conducted field validation activity last Sept. 2015 (Photos A & B). Build-ups such as houses, resorts and abandoned school buildings were seen in the area (Photo C).
