CLSU-UPD Joint Field Validation Activity of the PHIL-LiDAR 2 (FRExLS) team in Dinalupihan, Bataan
The Phil-LiDAR 2 CLSU and UP Diliman Forest Resources Extraction From Lidar Surveys” (FRExLS) teams conducted a joint ground field validation activity in Dinalupihan, Bataan on August 8 to 11, 2016. The field validation activity was conducted to determine the ground truth of LiDAR data and for accuracy assessment of the produced map.
Four of the CLSU Phil-LiDAR 2 researchers namely: Engr. Guillier Damian, Mr. Mark Joseph Quinto, Ms. Roan F. Beronilla and Engr. Joy S. Quibuyen joined the field validation activity.

Data such as canopy height, Diameter Breast Height (DBH) and Digital Hemispherical Photograph (DHP) were gathered in every established plot.
